DPS SIGNS ESTATE OF MULTI-AWARD WINNING SCIENCE FICTION AUTHOR

William "Bill" Rotsler—the photographer, cinematographer, motion picture director, cartoonist, bon vivant and science fiction writer—nominated for both the Hugo Award and the Nebula Award for his novelette "Patron of the Arts."

When Rotsler debuted the novel of the same name, the first few chapters of which comprised the novelette, it was to great critical acclaim.

"We are proud to be associated with the estate of William Rotsler in this venture," says DPS Publisher M.Christian, "Patron of the Arts has long been one of my favorite science fiction novels."

Larry Niven called William Rotsler's sf writing "good, fast-paced. It does what science fiction is supposed to do!" While scifi Grandmaster Robert Silverberg hails it as "vivid, rich with color, insight and passion."

In addition, DPS has acquired the rights to Mr. Rotsler's landmark 1973 non-fiction work, Contemporary Erotic Cinema, originally issued via Ballentine Books.
